ACUA partner session. This session describes how organizations can build a successful case and framework for enterprise risk management by exploring the often underutilized partnership and collaboration between the chief risk officer and lead internal audit executive. It demonstrates how to develop a strong methodology and approach to risk mitigation.

As a result of participating in this session, attendees will:
 Build a successful case and framework for ERM with a defined approach.
 Assessment tools and outcomes.
 Outline key collaboration and consultative techniques deployed in the partnership between risk management and internal audit to gain top-level support and build consensus with institutional stakeholders for ERM.
 Navigate the challenges and pitfalls of implementing and sustaining a successful ERM program.
