Title IX & Campus SaVE Act Compliance - Lessons Learned from the Front Lines

The SaVE Act has now been federal law for a little over a year, and institutions are focusing on making certain their policies and practices comply with the SaVE’s regulations going into effect July 1, 2015. We will review steps higher education institutions should be addressing to ensure compliance and minimize the risk of legal claims. We will discuss the changes that went into effect on July 1 and best practices for addressing common issues arising from these new legal requirements including the investigation and adjudication process, training obligations and dealing with attorneys serving as advisors.

As a result of participating in this session:
 Participants will be informed of the steps their institutions must take to ensure compliance and minimize the risk of legal claims relating to Title IX and the Campus SaVE Act.
