Managing Young Drivers & Your Fleet Risk

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What’s the best way to manage your fleet exposure when you have a range of vehicles and some of these vehicles are being driven by young adults? Accidents statistics tell us one thing about humans: they are sometimes lousy drivers. In fact, statistics show us that drivers are a causal factor in more than 90 percent of all vehicle accidents and young drivers are especially high risk. From a risk management perspective, that places colleges and universities in a unique position.
Insights from research into human factors and vehicle safety based on the latest naturalistic driving studies involving young adult drivers will be shared. We will also discuss fleet management best practices and technologies colleges and universities can use to help reduce exposure to vehicle accidents.

As a result of participating in this session, attendees will:
 Use research, statistics and tools to help their organization understand risks particular to young drivers.
 Gain insight into technologies that their organization can use to manage fleet risk.
 Take home a self-assessment check list for driver and fleet management risk.
